Spa Asia 11 generations of Honda Civic on display at SpaAsia !
Without a doubt, Honda will be playing a major part at this inaugural edition of the SpaAsia on Sunday 18thSeptember. During this big convivial festival of two and four-wheel machines emanating from the Asian continent, the renowned Japanese make will be hard at work, on two-wheels with the presentation of its range and the setting up of an Africa Twin Experience inviting the trialists to a run in off-road mode, but also on four-wheels with the highlighting of definitely an emblematic model: the Civic!
It was in … 1972, already fifty years ago, that the first generation of the Civic, a compact saloon, was revealed. A model that from the outset was to be a great commercial success, and allowing Honda to distinguish itself on European soil. Now, in 2022 the Civic is in its… eleventh generation, and to date has produced more than 27 million cars!
For the Belgian importer this was the ideal opportunity to celebrate such an acclaim with an exhibition allowing the make’s fans, as well as the general public, to appreciate the eleven generations of the Civic, reunited for the occasion!
As cherry on the cake, Honda will present in a Belgian premiere the latest Type R version of its best-seller, a high-performance car powered by a turbo charged 4-cylinder two litre engine developing more than 300 bhp! A real bomb that pays tribute to the image of the Type R, the muscle version of the Civic that since then has become a legend.
As from its first edition, SpaAsia will be hot news for one of the major Asian makes of the car/motorcycle focus group, proof that the DG Sport organisation will immediately reach its target by being widely talked about. It looks promising …
